Gigi Project Donates Blessing Bags to the Homeless

This morning, prior to work and a dr appointment in the city, Ben and I went around Philadelphia handing out “Blessing Bags” to the homeless. We tried to capture the smiles through the photos.

One of the ways you can give back to our community is through these “Blessing Bags”. You can assemble them at home & hand them out to those in need or to give them to homeless shelters.

Handing out a “Blessing Bag” to someone gives you a very real way to meet their immediate needs by providing them with some basic supplies such as toiletries, a gift card, food and warm items. We also added masks to the bags although they aren’t pictured – note: not one person we handed the bags to had one. “Blessing Bags” are great to keep on hand in your car, so if you are in a situation where you find someone in need, you have the bag right there to hand to them.

Stay tuned for a future Gigi Project event where we assemble “Blessing Bags” and hand them out to our local community in need.
