The GiGi Project | Homeless

The Homeless are Closer Than You Think

Did you know that there are individuals living without their basic need for shelter? The Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter serves as a temporary home to approximately 75 people and about one third are children. The only way this organization can support the growing need for homeless shelters is through contributions from generous donors and the effort put forth by hundreds of hard-working volunteers each year. The homeless need your help to survive and get back on the right path.

Volunteering is great for the community, the organization, and your soul. Currently, the most needed volunteers at shelters are pantry attendants who can help serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to the residents.
